VPN
Virtual private networks (VPNs) allow you to connect to the resources
inside a secured local network from outside that network. VPNs are
commonly deployed by corporations, schools, and other institutions so
that their users can access local network resources when not inside that
network, or when connected to a wireless network.
To add a VPN
1. Tap Settings > Connections > VPN.
2. On the screen that opens, follow your network administrator's
instructions to configure each component of the VPN settings.
3. Tap SAVE.
The VPN is added to the list on the VPN settings screen.
Before adding a VPN, you should set a screen lock for your phone.
Private DNS
Select the Private DNS Mode of the device.
Chromebook
Link your phone to a Chromebook so that you can text from your
computer, share your phone’s Internet connection and simplify unlocking.
Quick Share
Quick Share is a service to send and receive files between Android
devices located at proximity. It provides a list of compatible devices in
your proximity that you can share content with. When you tap on the
receiver, they will be notified with the option to accept or decline the file
you are sharing.
