BATTERY LOCK PIN
Make sure that the battery stopper is not loose.
Close the hood
A CAUTION
Use due caution not to get your fingers pinched when
closing the hood.
Use caution not to get your fingers pinched between the hood and
the truck body when closing the hood.
[13] ADJUSTING DRIVER'S SEAT AND STEERING
COLUMN ANGLE
Get on the truck and adjust the driver's seat to the position which
provides easy access to foot and hand controls. Also make sure
that you can operate the steering wheel smoothly.
After adjusting the seat position and steering column angle, lock
them securely.
PREOPERATIONAL CHECKS
SIDEVIEW MIRROR
Check that the sideview mirrors are not dirty or damaged.
Adjust the mirror in the driver's seat to gain full rearview when you
are seated.
[15] PARKING BRAKE OPERATION
BRAKE LEVER|
Make sure that the brake works properly.
The brake must be properly applied when you pull the lever fully
toward you.
Turn the key switch ON

Check that the load handling levers (lift, tilt, and attachment) are
not loose and can be operated smoothly.
