This document describes the TDRFORCE Booster Pump, a device designed to provide green power for life. It includes an instruction manual, warranty card, and specifications for three models: JETS-60, JETS-80, and JT-100.
Function Description
The TDRFORCE Booster Pump is an automatic pump control system designed to boost water pressure. It features an automatic controller that manages the pump's operation, ensuring it starts when needed and shuts off when the required pressure is reached. The system is equipped with a water protection circuit that automatically shuts off the pump after 5 minutes of dry running to prevent damage. It is primarily intended for circulating fresh water.

All models feature an automatic pump control with high temperature resistance, a maximum pressure of 1 MPa (10 bar), and an IP65 rating. The controller operates on 220-240V, with a maximum current of 14A and a maximum power of 1.1kW.
Usage Features
Installation:
- Verify that the main voltage matches the motor rating plate.
- Place the pump as close as possible to the suction tank.
- Avoid mechanical stress on the pump body.
- Shelter the pump from weather elements (sun, rain, wind, snow, chill).
- Ensure the motor is absolutely grounded before operation.
- The suction pipe diameter must always be larger than the suction port.
- Always install a foot valve with a strainer on the suction pipe.
- Both suction and delivery pipes must be securely fastened.
Starting the Pump:
- Before starting, fill the pump body with water. The pump will only be ready to start after being filled.
- Dry running can damage the pump; a water protection circuit will automatically shut off the pump after 5 minutes of dry running.
- Ensure the pump operates within its specified operating data.
- The pump is designed for fresh water circulation only.
Automatic Controller Operation:
- When connected to the electrical network, a green "Power On" LED illuminates, and a yellow "On" LED indicates the pump has started.
- The pump operates for several seconds to fill the pipes and reach the required pressure.
- If the initial lapse is insufficient, a red "Failure" LED will light up. To restart, press and hold the "Restart" button with a tap open until the red LED turns off.
- Once the button is released and the tap is closed, the unit stops at its maximum pressure.
- The starting operation is archived, and the unit is programmed to perform all pump control operations automatically.
- In cases of particular operational breakdowns (e.g., water failure, obstruction of the suction pipe), the unit recognizes the breakdown, and the red "Failure" LED lights up. A stop signal is sent to the pump to prevent damage caused by water absence. Rectification of the failures that caused the blockage allows the system to be restarted by pressing the "Restart" button.
Pressure Adjustment:
- The starting pressure is pre-set at 1.5 bar for JETS-60 and 2.0 bar for JETS-80.
- The controller's starting pressure can be adjusted up to a maximum of 2.2 bar.
- To increase the starting pressure, turn the pressure screw clockwise.
- To decrease or release the starting pressure, turn the pressure screw counterclockwise.
Wiring:
- The wiring diagram inside the terminal block guides correct connection. Incorrect wiring will destroy the electronic circuit.
- Connection cables must be three-wired with a compulsory grounding end.
- The outer diameter of the cable should be 7.5mm-8.5mm.
- One end of the cable must be positioned lower than the fixing screws while connected to the power.
- The four screws on the panel board and the two nuts for fixing the cable must be securely fastened to prevent water from entering the control box and damaging the electronic circuit.
Maintenance Features
- General Maintenance: Pumps do not require any particular maintenance.
- Long-term Storage: If the pump is unused for an extended period, it is recommended to empty it to prevent deposit formation or an increase in water volume due to frozen water, which could damage the fixing bolts or crack the pump body.
- Restarting after Storage: When restarting the pump, refill it with water and ensure the shaft runs freely.
Troubleshooting (Possible Working Defects)
Pump does not start:
- Cause: Broken electronic card, voltage failure, jammed pump, inverted electric cables, inlet water pressure lower than starting pressure.
- Solution: Replace controller, use rated voltage, clean impeller, install according to manual, no action needed for low inlet pressure.
Pump does not stop:
- Cause: Overpressure, broken electronic card, blocked flow detector, blocked reset button, insufficient pressure, leaks.
- Solution: Adjust pressure screw counterclockwise, replace controller, fix leakage.
Intermittent pump working:
- Cause: Broken electronic card, insufficient pressure, leaks.
- Solution: Replace controller, fix leakage.
Pump is jammed:
- Cause: Broken electronic card, pump provides lower pressure than restarting pressure, water failure, suction problem.
- Solution: Replace controller, install according to manual.
Pump has no suction:
- Cause: Distance between pump and water surface beyond max head, leakage on inlet tube/air in, starting without water.
- Solution: Shorten distance between pump and water, fix inlet leakage, fill pump body with water and ensure check valve has no leakage.
