Depress

the

REC

TONE

switch

and

check

for

conformance

with

the

illustration.

If

the

pointer

is

not

within

the

specified

range,

adjust

with

VR-106.

Before

performing

this

adjustment,

measure

the

voltage

from

TP=-1

to

ground.

Indicated

reading

should

be

100

mV.

Connect

the

test

equipment

as

shown

position.

Set

the

MODE

switch

to

REC.

Set

the

DOLBY

switch

to

IN

and

the

METER

switch

to

L.

oscillator

frequency

at

100

Hz

and

adjust

the

ATT

so

the

AN-80

meter's

pointer

will

indicate

the

reference

level.

Make

certain

that

the

pointer

is

in

the

position

shown

in

LEVEL

METER

SENSITIVITY

TEST.

The

distortion

factor

meter

reading

at

this

point

should

be

re-

garded

as

0

dB

when

measuring

the

frequency

response

or

SN

ratio,

or

as

100%

when

measuring

the

distortion

factor.
