Alignment Procedures

AM Tuning Voltage Adjustment

Adjusts AM tuning voltage to 1V using a digital voltmeter and trimmer condenser TC21.

AM IFT Adjustment

Adjusts AM IFT (T42) for maximum level meter reading at 1000kHz.

AM Tracking Adjustment

Adjusts AM tracking (L22, TC21) for maximum level meter reading across frequency range.

AM Auto-Scan Stop-Level Adjustment

Adjusts AM auto-scan stop-level (SVR42) to activate the tuned indicator light.

FM Tuning-Voltage and Tracking Adjustment

Notes that the FM front end is pre-adjusted and requires no further adjustment.

FM Detector Adjustment

Adjusts FM detector (T41) for a voltage reading of within +/-1mV at 98MHz.
