15. Outdoor
Antenna
Grounding
-
lf
an
outside antenna is
connected
to the
receiver,
be
sure the antenna
system
is
grounded
so as
to
provide
some
protection
against voltage
surges
and built up
static charges.
Section
810 of the
National
Electrical
Code,
ANSI/NFPA
No.
70
-
1984,
pro-
vides
information
with respect
to
proper
grounding
of the
mast
and supporting
structure,
grounding
of the lead-in
wire to an
antenna discharge
unit, size of
grounding
con-
ductors,
location
of antenna-discharge unit, connection
to
grounding
electrodes,
and requirements for
th6
grounding
electrode.

7. Wall or
Ceiling
Mounting
-
The appliance
should be
mount-

to a
wall

ceiling only
as recommended

the

Protection

Power-supply

routed so

closure through openings.
Damage Requiring Service
-

appliance

viced
by
qualified
service
personnel
when:

power-supply
cord or

Objects
have
fallen, or
liquid

spilled

appliance
has been

to operate
normally

exhibits

the enclosure

19. Servicing
-
The user should
not attempt
to
service
the
appliance
beyond
that
described
in the operating

tions.

be
referred
