The Teba TPW-23 is a pellet and wood central heating stove designed for domestic use, offering both heating and a fireplace view. It is a fully automatic appliance that provides heat dissipation to radiators and is certified to European Standards (DIN EN 14785).
The TPW-23 operates as a central heating unit, capable of burning both pellets and wood. It features an automatic ignition system, where fuel is fed by an auger and ignited by a resistance. The stove is equipped with an expansion vessel, circulation pump, thermostats, safety valve, and safety switches for comprehensive operation. It can be used in three modes: Pellet Mode (pellet fuel only), Wood Mode (wood fuel only, manual fire start), and Combi Mode (starts with pellets, continues with wood). The control panel allows users to manage combustion settings, set heating power (1-6 and Auto options), and adjust auger and fan calibration for optimal fuel loading and flue fan speed. It also includes a chrono menu for setting daily, weekly, or weekend start and stop times for the heating system. An info screen provides real-time data such as flue outlet temperature, water temperature, pressure, and fan speed.
The TPW-23 features a user-friendly control panel with a touch screen display. The main screen shows current temperature, ignition status, and allows access to various menus. Swiping left reveals the status of internal components like igniter, auger, and pumps, with active components displayed in green. The main screen, when scrolled down, allows selection between Summer/Winter modes, combustion management, and pellet/wood fuel modes. The "Settings" menu allows adjustment of heating power, heating management, timer, and manual loading. The "Customize" menu is used for panel settings, display, and system customization, including time and date settings and language selection. The "Chrono" menu enables scheduling of the system's start and stop times for specific days or intervals (Daily, Weekly, Weekend). The device includes safety features such as a safety limit thermostat and a chimney emission safety switch. It also has frost protection for the pumps, which automatically operates the pump for 3-10 seconds every 24 hours if heating water drops below +5°C, to prevent corrosion and sediment buildup. Therefore, the product should not be unplugged throughout the year. For installation, it is recommended to use 6mm natural pellets manufactured according to DIN Plus standards. The stove should be connected to a chimney with the shortest possible distance, using stainless steel flue pipes of the same diameter as the chimney output/input. A reduction must be used at the chimney input. A maximum of 4 meters of pipes and 2 elbows should be used, with pipe joints taped. Minimum safety distances from flammable or heat-sensitive materials are 25cm from the rear wall, 15cm from lateral walls, and 80cm from the radiation area (front side), which can be reduced to 40cm with a protection panel. If installed on a flammable floor, a base (e.g., marble or glass) is required.
Regular maintenance is crucial for the stove's efficiency and longevity.
The manual also lists error codes and their corresponding solutions, advising users to check related parts and values, then reset the device. If errors persist, contact service. Damages caused by inappropriate pellet use or non-regular cleaning are not covered by warranty.
