it

fail

operate
correctly
in the following situations:
When
there
is
no
dead
space
between
tape
programs
(for
exam-
ple,
when
you
are
playing
a
tape
recorded
from
a
microphone).
When
the
interval
between
programs
(dead
space)
is
less
than
4
seconds.
When
there
is
a
particular
low-level
passage
or
silent
passage
in
the
middle
of
a
program.
When
there
are
less
than
10
seconds
from
the
point
where
TPS
- Starts to the beginning of the program.
When
there
