Thesurfaceoftheunitcanbecleanedwithabarely
dampclothandthendriedcarefully.Neveruse
abrasives,abrasiveclothsorchemicalsolvents.
Do notcleantheinsideoftheCDplayerwithacloth.
Lightlyblowoutanydust.
IfyourCDsdon’tplayproperly,thisislikelytobe
causedbysurfacedamageordirtontheCD.Ifthe
CDlensgetsdirty,useaproprietarylenscleanerand
followtheinstructionscarefully.IfyoukeeptheCD
doorclosedatalltimeswhentheunitisnotinuse,the
lensisextremelyunlikelytogetdirty.
Suddenchangesinthesurroundingtemperaturecan
causecondensationtoformonthelensofyourCD
player.PlayingaCDisthennotpossible.Donot
attempttocleanthelensbutleavethesetinawarm
environmentuntilthemoistureevaporates.
Cleanthecassetteplayerheadsatregularintervals
andbeforerecordingwithagoodqualityproprietary
headcleaningkitorheadcleaningtape.Ifyour
recordingssounddull,thiscouldbeanindication
thatthetaperecordingheadsneedcleaning.If,after
cleaning,therecordingsstillsounddull,useade-
magnetiserobtainablefromRadioandTVaccessory
storesandfollowtheinstructionscarefully.
