CONNECTING THE PLAYER
SCART OUT
This is the player’s default connection mode and the most convenient to use. Both audio and video
signals are carried by the SCART lead.
Connect the SCART output of the DVD 105 to the SCART input of the TV set. If your TV has 2 SCART
connectors we suggest you use the connector which offers a choice of RGB and composite input.
The recommended setting is RGB (see Page 7). Please refer to your TV user manual to establish
whether the TV will support this feature.
Some TV sets offer composite video on SCART 2. Consult your TV user manual for details.only
Use only one of the connection methods described here
IF YOUR TV SET DOES NOT HAVE A DIRECT A/V INPUT
It may be possible to connect the DVD 105 to a VCR which
have A/V inputs and then play the VCR through the antenna input
of the TV set. This will produce an acceptable picture but will not
maximise the potential of the DVD medium.
Refer to your VCR manual to establish what connections the VCR
uses and use one of the connection methods described above.
