Please note that subtitles can only be displayed if the programme provider
actually broadcasts the corresponding data. If the programme provider only
sends subtitle recognition but no data, subtitles cannot be displayed.
If you would like your device to provide subtitled programmes automatically,
set your device to automatic subtitles playback. For more information please
consult the instruction manual.
11.10 Format switchover/Zoom
> Pressing the Zoom/Format buon allows you to select the various pre-
defined formats (original, optimum, optimum 16:9. full zoom and stretch) as
well as the user-defined seing, where you can adjust the picture as you wish.
> To hide the format switching screen, press the Back buon.
11.11 Sleep timer
You can set the switch-o time of your device using the sleep timer.
> You can set the sleep timer by pressing the Sleep timer buon multiple times
(15 minutes to 120 minutes), or switch it o.
Aer reaching the set time, the DIGIT ISIO S3 switches to standby mode.
Due to the new Europe-wide energy saving regulations, the device
automatically switches to standby if no operation has been carried out for 3
hours. This function can be configured under Menu> Seings > Basic seings
> Auto standby.
11.12 Electronic programme guide (EPG)
The DIGIT ISIO S3 has an electronic TV programme guide called SiehFern Info
(Electronic Programme Guide; EPG).
This enables you to display the programme information of individual or several digital
programmes on the screen and to get a very quick overview of the programmes
currently playing or of the programmes for the current day or the following days.

> Press the SFI buon to open the electronic programme guide.
The electronic programme guide appears in the preset start category. The
Overview start category is selected as the default seing in the factory.
