Menu funcons:
Squelch level (SQL) - Menu N°0
This funcon allows you to adjust the squelch to 10 predened levels:
1. level 0: open squelch, in this way it is possible to receive all signals, even the
weakest, however all background noise will also be received.
2. level 1- 9: squelch set to gradually increasing levels; level 1 (squelch at mini-
mum level), level 9 (squelch at maximum level).
With the squelch at maximum level only the strongest signals will be received.
Frequency step (STEP) - Menu N°1
With this funcon you can select the desired frequency step.
The available values are: 2.5 / 5.0 / 6.25 / 10.0 / 12.5 / 25KHz
Note: in channel mode this funcon cannot be enabled.
Output power (TXP) - Menu N°2
In this menu, select the high or low output power.
Low power = 1W; high power = VHF 8W / UHF 5W
Note: selecng the high output power improves the call quality, while the low
power reduces the baery consumpon. In channel mode, you can switch from
high to low power by pressing the rapid key “#” (Menu No. 55).
Baery saving (SAVE) - Menu N°3
The Power Save funcon allows a reducon in baery consumpon when the radio
