1 INTRODUCTION
PROVASET 2P is an electro-pneumatic leak tester dedicated to perform pressure decay leak
tests: It makes it possible to bench test small and medium-size products, both stiff and
flexible.
PROVASET 2P features very compact dimensions, simple use and high performances.
The pressure reading offers a 0.1 mbar resolution on the model 2P2B00 up to 2 bar full scale
range and model the model 2P6B00 up to 6 bar full scale range.
The simple and effective pneumatic circuit guarantees the reliability shown on site by the
previous PROVASET models.
The case is made of unpainted stainless steel that is suitable for any environment, especially
the white rooms of the biomedical sector.
Beyond the leak test, PROVASET 2P allows to also carry out a multiple obstruction test after
the relevant enabling.
PROVASET 2P has 16 programmable test parameter tables: each table includes the
parameters adjusting a test cycle and it is therefore possible to pre-set different test
conditions for different products.
PROVASET 2P has six selectable units of measurement relating to the pressure.
PROVASET 2P has five selectable languages for display messages.
PROVASET 2P has an aided procedure making it possible to calibrate the pressure sensor.
This versatility, together with a high accuracy and reliability level and an user friendly control,
makes it possible to use the leak tester both in manufacturing departments and Quality
Management laboratories.
