Il TWINTEC MASK BUS è un sensore a doppia tecnologia che si compone di un elemento a
infrarossi passivi e di una microonda. La logica di rilevazione è programmabile (AND/OR/WALK)

. Il sensore è dotato delle funzioni controllo
antimascheramento, self test e compensazione della temperatura.
Le TWINTEC MASK BUS est un détecteur à double technologie composé d’un capteur infrarouge passif et d’un

Overview

The TWINTEC MASK BUS is a dual-technology detector that combines a passive infrared (PIR) element and a microwave (MW) sensor. Its detection logic is programmable (AND/OR/WALK) and can be integrated with the RDV® function. The detector is equipped with anti-masking control, self-test, and temperature compensation features.

Electronic Board / Carte Électronique

The electronic board features several configurable components:

  • SW1 (Address Programming): This DIP switch is used to set the detector's address from 1 to 8.

    • OFF OFF OFF OFF: Not valid
    • ON OFF OFF OFF: Address 1
    • OFF ON OFF OFF: Address 2
    • ON ON OFF OFF: Address 3
    • OFF OFF ON OFF: Address 4
    • ON OFF ON OFF: Address 5
    • OFF ON ON OFF: Address 6
    • ON ON ON OFF: Address 7
    • OFF OFF OFF ON: Address 8
  • JP1 (Tamper / Auto-surveillance): This jumper controls the tamper function.

    • ON: Disabled (Not permitted according to EN 50131-2-4)
    • OFF: Enabled
  • JP2 (Serial Line Termination): This jumper is used to terminate the serial line. It should be inserted on the last device in the serial line.

Coverage Diagrams

The detector offers a wide coverage area, with a maximum IR range of 18m and an IR coverage angle of 108°. The MW range is adjustable from 3m to 18m ± 20%. The MW coverage angle is 72° horizontal and 36° vertical. The detector has 29 sensitive zones and 4 IR planes.

Installation

  1. Opening the device: To open the device, unhook the latch next to the closing screw and then open the cover.
  2. Removing the electronic board: Push the movable latch to the left to remove the electronic board.
  3. Mounting options: The device can be mounted on a wall (C - wall mounting holes), in a corner (D - corner mounting holes), or using the tamper contact (E - tamper contact mounting hole).
  4. Electronic board placement: The electronic board is secured by support points (F), fixed latches (G), and a fixing screw (H).
  5. Closing the device: Hook the upper part, close the lower part, and then screw it with the provided screw.
