WhenyousettheairconditionerinAUTOmode,itwill
automaticallyselectcooling,heating(cooling/heating
modelsonly),orfanonlyoperationdependingonset
temperatureandtheroomtemperature.
Theairconditionerwillcontrolroomtemperature
automaticallytothetemperaturepointyouset.
IfyoufeeluncomfortableintheAUTOmode,youcanset
yourdesiredtemperature.
WhenyoupushSLEEPbuttononremotecontroller
duringcooling,heating(cooling&heatingmodelsonly),
orAUTOoperation,theairconditionerwill
automaticallyincrease(cooling)ordecrease(heating)
perhourforthefirst2hours,thenhold
steadilyforthenext5hours,afterthatitwillswitchoff.
Thismodesavesyouenergyandbringsyoucomfort
atnight.
Toachieveoptimalperformance,pleasenotethe
following:
Adjusttheairflowdirectioncorrectlysothatitisnot
forwardspeople.
Adjustthetemperaturetoachievethehighestcomfort
level.Donotadjusttheunittoexcessivetemperature
levels.
ClosedoorsandwindowsonCOOLorHEATmodes,
orperformancemaybereduced.
UseTIMERONbuttonontheremotecontrollerto
selectatimeyouwanttostartyourairconditioner.
Donotputanyobjectnearairinletorairoutlet,asthe
efficiencyoftheairconditionermaybereducedand
theairconditionermaystoprunning.
Cleantheairfilterperiodically,otherwisecoolingor
heatingperformancemaybereduced.
Donotoperateunitwithhorizontallouvreinclosed
position.
Thefanspeedwillbeautomaticallycontrolledunder
dryoperation.
Duringthedryoperation,iftheroomtemperatureis
lowerthan10C(50F),thecompressorstopsoperation
andrestartsuntiltheroomtemperatureisabove
12C(54F).

Beforemainatenance
Aclothdampenedwithcoldwatermaybeused
ontheindoorunitifitisverydirty.Thenwipeit
withadrycloth.
Donotuseachemicallytreatedclothordusterto
cleantheunit.
Donotusebenzine,thinner,polishingpowder,or
similarsolventsforcleaning.Thesemaycause
theplasticsurfacetocrackordeform.
Neverusewaterhotterthan40C/104Ftoclean
thefrontpanel,itcouldcausedeformationof
discoloration.
CAUTIONS
Turnthesystemoffbeforecleaning.Toclean,wipewith
asoft,drycloth.Donotusebleachorabrasives.
NOTE:Powersupplymustbedisconnectdbefore
cleaningtheindoorunit.
1.Lifttheindoorunitpaneluptoanangleuntilit
stopswithaclickingsound.Forsomemodels,
pleaseusesuspensionbarstopropupthepanel.
2.Takeholdofthehandleoftheairfilterandliftit
upslightlytotakeitoutfromthefilterholder,
thenpullitdownwards.
3.RemovetheAIRFILTERfromtheindoorunit.
CleantheAIRFILTERoncetwoweeks.
CleantheAIRFILTERwithavacuum
cleaner
orwater,thendryitupincoolplace.
Cleaning the unit
wipetheunit withasoft dryclothonly.Iftheunitis
verydirty,wipeitwithaclothsoakedinwarmwater.
Cleaning the airfilterand special filter
Acloggedairfilterreducesthecoolingefficiency of
thisunit. Pleasecleanthefilteronce every2weeks.
