  If your Tectro Air Conditioner isn't cooling or heating well despite airflow, it might be due to a few reasons. First, ensure the temperature is set correctly. Check the 'operation with remote control' section in chapter E for detailed instructions. Also, a blocked air filter can be the culprit, so try cleaning it. Make sure all doors and windows are closed to prevent air leakage. Check that neither the indoor nor outdoor unit's air inlet or outlet is blocked; clear any obstructions and restart the unit. It’s also possible the compressor has a 3-minute delay protection activated; if so, simply wait. Finally, the outdoor unit may be defrosting.

  If your Tectro Air Conditioner unit doesn't start, several factors could be the cause. Check if there's a power cut and wait for the power to be restored. Ensure the unit is securely plugged into the wall receptacle. The fuse may have blown, so replace it or reset the relay/circuit breaker. Also, the remote controller battery may be exhausted, so try replacing it. Make sure the remote controller is within 6 to 7 meters of the receiver on the indoor unit, without obstacles in between, and aim directly at the receiver. Finally, the timer setting may be incorrect; wait or cancel the timer setting.

  If you can't change the fan speed on your Tectro Air Conditioner, it's likely because the unit is in automode. The fan speed can only be adjusted when the air conditioner is in HEAT, COOL, or FAN mode. Alternatively, the air conditioner may be in dry mode.

  If the TEMP. indicator isn't showing on your Tectro Air Conditioner, it's probably because the unit is in FAN mode. Temperature settings are not available in FAN mode.
