H EXT toggles between external reference (EXT LED
on) and internal reference. Internal reference can be
configured for component operation, and two
external reference inputs can be designated for
dual-standard instruments. See the
CONFIGURE men
on page 3-18.
INPUT
H Selecting a front-panel input causes the signal that is
input to the corresponding rear-panel connector to
be displayed on screen.
H Without
PARADE or OVERLAY selected, only one
input selection can be made at a time. Each input
channel button (including
A123 / B123) toggles
between
A and B, and is cancelled when another
input button is pressed.
H With
PARADE or OVERLAY selected, multiple input
selections can be made; input buttons select
A, B,
both, or off, and do not cancel each other.
A123
A123 provides a side-by-side display of the CH-A1,
CH-A2, and CH-A3 inputs (B123 displays the CH-B1,
CH-B2, and CH-B3 inputs). Selecting A123or B123
turns off all other input channels. When PARADE or
OVERLAY is selected, A123 and B123 can be displayed
together and in combination with other inputs.
P
ARADE
PARADE displays up to four input channels side-by-
side, with any additional inputs overlaid. Selecting
PARADE displays the input channel(s) last selected
for
PARADE, allowing a custom configuration of
inputs. In
PARADE mode, the LINE/FIELD button
offers only two choices: one line and one field.
