interior
of
any
unit
should

throughout
the
system
.
When
the
system
must
be
operated
with
the
cabinet
removed,
do
not
touch
exposed
conections
or
components
.
Some
tran-
sistors
have
voltage
present
on
their
cases
.
Disconnect
power
before
cleaning
the
system
or
replacing
parts
.
Two
screws
on
the
rear
panel
secure
the
case
to
the
TM
515
Power
Unit
.
Unscrewthem
and
lift
the
power
unit
straight
up
to
take the
two
apart
.
Do
not
operate
the
system
with
the
case
removed
any
longer
than necessary
for
troubleshooting
and
calibration
.
Re-install
the
power
unit
to
protect
the
interior
from
dust
and
to
remove
personnel
shock
hazards,
as
well
as
provide
proper
ventilation
.
When
reinstalling
the
power
unit
in
the
case,
care
should be
taken
to
align
the
Power
Supply
mounts
with
their
respective
holes
in
the
Chassis
(Support)
Assembly
.
You
may
find
it
easier
to
fit
the
case
to
the supply
.
Look
down
through
the
front
end
of
the
open
case
to
make
sure
the
mounts
align
with
their
respective holes
in
the
assembly
.
Then,
carefully
holding
the
two
units
together,
invert
the
whole
assembly
and
screw
the
two
mounting
bolts
into
place
.

CAUTION
MAINTENANCE
Section

Preventive
maintenance
steps
performed
on
a
regular
basis
will
improve
the
reliability of
the
instrumentation
systems
.
However,
periodic
checks
of
the
semiconductors
in
the
absence
of
a malfunction are not
recommended
as
preventive
maintenance
measures
.
