Description Intervals
Check the engine compartment automatic re extinguisher system to verify*;
Every Months
The Suppression Unit is in its proper location.
The Tamper Indicator is intact.
The Maintenance Tag or Certicate is in place.
The Suppression Unit shows no physical damage or condition that might prevent operation.
a. This includes inspecting the detection tubing in the hazard area for abrasion, distortion,
cuts, or dirt accumulation.
The Pressure Gauge is in the operable range.
The Nozzle Blow-off Caps are intact and undamaged (if applicable).
Neither the Protected Equipment nor the Hazard has been replaced, modied, or relocated.
Check the engine compartment automatic re extinguisher system**;
Every 6 Months
Make sure that the hazard has not changed.
Inspect detection/actuation tubing, discharge piping, nozzles, signals, and all other auxiliary
equipment.
Verify that the agent distribution piping is not obstructed.
The Fire Suppression System Indication Module functionality should be tested.
The Fire Suppression System Assembly should be disconnected from the detection and dis-
charge networks and the powder agitated.
* Monthly Inspection is to be performed by owner or end user
** Semi-annual Inspection is to be performed only by a Certied Firetrace Distributor
