above, some additional equipments have to be
used during painting precess.

Filtered gas masks blocks small
paint particles suspended in
the air and prevent inhalation of
these particles.
Some organic solvents used for
painting and priming may cause
severe deterioration on your
skin.

3.1 SANDPAPERING
3.1.1 CHOOSING PROPER PAPER
3. PROCEDURES
This procedure is used to remove painting, primer, batch layers from the surfaces and preparing
the surface for new applications. Sandpapering is applied manually, with air gun or vacuum
sandpapering machine. Regarding to the application type, it has two types as dry sandpapering
and wet sandpapering.
Sandpapering procedure steps are denoted with paper numbers. It is utmost important to use
proper number of paper according to the application.
Roughness of sand paper is inversely decreases with the number of paper to be used. The lower the
number of paper, the higher the roughness.

CAUTION
Gas masks have lters. After some period
these lters get choked and can not be
used any longer. Change the lters when
necessary.
