3.1.3 LAPPING LAYER BOUNDARIES
3.1.4 CLEANING SURFACES

Use sandpapering machine
with circular movements on the
boundaries of the layer.
Protect the areas of the vehicle
(which one not to be painted,
sandpapered , primed or batched)
by using a masking paper and
masking tape.
Regarding to the painting procedure
there are two types of masking;
1. Masking for batching
2. Masking for part painting

1. Clean the surface with a
solvent until no dirts or
particles remain.
2. Dry the surface immediately
with a new dry cloth.
3. Each time use new clothes or
inside out the cloth each time.
Thinner
Clean the surface with a solvent.
Dry the surface with a new dry cloth.
Throw away the cloth
Apply this procedure min. 3 times.
