Power on the Repeater
Plug the repeater into a power
outlet near the router in the
same room.
Method 2: Extending Your WiFi Network Using WPS
2 . Wait until the Signal LED on the repeater turns solid blue or red. If not, try Method 1.

1. Press the WPS button on the router and within 2 minutes press the WPS button
on the repeater.

4. Select a WiFi network (SSID) you want to
extend.
5. Enter the password of the WiFi network
you want to extend. Set your repeater's
SSID (optional), and click Extend.

Extend Your WiFi Network
1. Connect your WiFi device to the repeater's
WiFi network Tenda_EXT.

2. Start a web browser, enter re.tenda.cn or
192.168.0.254 in the address bar to log in.
3. Create a login password for later login
(recommend).
Ensure that the Mobile Data (if any)
function of your WiFi device is disabled.
Wait a moment, the Extended successfully!
page appears.

Relocate the Repeater
1. Plug the repeater into an outlet halfway between
the router/modem and the WiFi dead zone.
The location you choose must be within the range
of your existing WiFi network.
2 . Wait until the Signal LED turns blue. If not, relocate
the repeater closer to the router/modem.

Connect to the Internet
Connect your WiFi devices to the repeater
using the SSIDs set by yourself, or your
router's/modem's SSID with the suffix _EXT
or _5GEXT, and using the WiFi password
same as your existing WiFi network.
You can use Method 2 if your router/modem has a WPS button, which
may be indicated by , , or . Otherwise, use Method 1.
For better performance, follow the on-screen tips or
the steps below to relocate your repeater.

Power on the Repeater

Plug the repeater into a power outlet near the router. Wait for the PWR LED to turn solid blue.

Extend Your WiFi Network

Connect to Tenda_EXT, log in to re.tenda.cn, create a password, select network, enter password, and extend.

Relocate the Repeater

Place repeater halfway between router and dead zone, within router range. Wait for Signal LED to turn blue.

Connect to the Internet

Connect devices to extended network using SSIDs (_EXT/_5GEXT) and existing WiFi password.

Method 2: Extending Your WiFi Network Using WPS

Power on the Repeater

Plug the repeater into a power outlet. Wait for the PWR LED to turn solid blue.

Extend Your WiFi Network

Press WPS buttons on router and repeater within 2 minutes. Wait for Signal LED to turn blue or red.
