Fit the guard onto the motor housing and secure with screws. Peel off protective tape over cutting blade.
Re-assemble lock knob and bolt with the front handle fitted to the bracket. Adjust and lock handle position.
Assemble the two halves of the edging wheel and fix with screws to the trimmer head.
Loosen locking collar, adjust tubes to comfortable length, then tighten the locking collar.
Press yellow button, rotate cutting head to comfortable position, release button to lock.
