Operation
Defrosting food by weight
You can automatically set the oven to defrost food by the food
weight.
• Weigh the food you want to defrost before placing it in the
oven.
• Press ‘Weight Defrost’.
dEF1 will be displayed.
• Use the number keypad to enter the weight. The weight
range is 100g - 2000g.
For example, to set 550g, press 5,5,0.
• Press ‘START / + 30 SEC ’.
The display will switch to show the defrost time.
The defrost time will count down.
When 30% of the defrost time has expired the oven will pause and
beep twice.
• Open the door and turn or stir the food (optional stage).
• Press ‘START / + 30 SEC ’ to continue defrosting.
NOTE: If the door is not opened, the oven will resume defrosting
automatically.
The oven will beep 5 times when the food is defrosted.
NOTE: Always check that food has been fully defrosted.
Time defrost
You can also defrost by setting your choice of time for
defrosting.
• Press ‘Time Defrost’.
dEF2 will be displayed.
• Use the number keypad to enter the defrost time.
For example, to set 18 minutes, press 1,8,0,0.
• Press ‘START / + 30 SEC ’.
The timer will count down the defrost time. The oven will beep 5
times when the food is defrosted.
NOTE: Always check that food has been fully defrosted.
