Function Description
The Tesla washing machine is designed for household use, offering various washing programs for different fabric types and soil levels. It includes features like prewash, intensive wash, and special care programs such as "Allergy Care" and "Drum Clean." The machine can be set to start immediately or with a delay, allowing users to schedule washes up to 24 hours in advance. Some models may also include a "Steam Wash" function for enhanced cleaning. The appliance is equipped with safety features like a "Child Lock" to prevent accidental operation and a "Door Lock" to ensure the door is properly secured during operation. It also incorporates "Unbalance Protection" to manage uneven loads during spinning and a "Resume Function" that allows the machine to continue a cycle after a power interruption.

Usage Features
The washing machine features a control panel with a cycle selector dial, a display, and buttons for temperature, spin speed, delay, start/pause, and on/off.
- Cycle Selection: Users can choose from programs like Mix, Super Quick, Wool, Shirt, Sportswear, Intensive, Bedding, Allergy Care, Cotton, Prewash, ECO 40-60, 20°C, Delicate, Drum Clean, Spin, and Rinse+Spin.
- Temperature Control: The temperature can be adjusted for the current cycle, with available ranges depending on the selected program.
- Spin Speed Adjustment: The spinning speed can be changed, with options varying by cycle.
- Delay Function: Allows scheduling a wash to finish automatically at a later time, from 3 to 24 hours in 1-hour increments.
- Start/Pause: Initiates or pauses a cycle, allowing users to change settings or options during a paused state.
- On/Off: Powers the machine on or off. The machine automatically turns off if not used for 10 minutes after being powered on.
- Child Lock: Activates by pressing and holding "Temp." and "Speed" simultaneously for 3 seconds, locking all buttons except On/Off.
- Alarm Off: Activates by pressing and holding "Speed" and "Delay" simultaneously for 3 seconds, turning off the sound for the cycle selector and all buttons.
- Door Lock: An icon indicates if the door is properly closed and locked.
- Reload Function: Allows adding clothes mid-cycle by long-pressing the "Start/Pause" button for 3 seconds after the door lock is disengaged.
- Cloth Weigh Awareness: The machine estimates the weight of clothes at the beginning of a wash and dispenses detergent automatically (if sufficient detergent is in the drawer), then adjusts water quantity for water saving.
- Unbalance Protection: The machine may take time to balance clothes during spinning. If clothes remain unbalanced, spin speed may be reduced, or the machine may not spin if the load is too small, requiring more clothes to be added.
Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for prolonging the washing machine's lifespan.
- Detergent Drawer Cleaning: The detergent drawer can be removed by pressing a part inside, lifting a clip, and taking out the softener cover for thorough cleaning. All grooves should be washed with water.
- Drain Pump Cleaning: Recommended every six months. This involves removing the protective cover, slowly unscrewing the pump cover, removing laundry residue, and cleaning the blades until they rotate freely.
- Water Inlet Filter Screen Cleaning: Recommended every six months. This requires turning off the faucet, removing the water inlet pipe, scrubbing the filter screen with a small brush, unscrewing the water inlet pipe from the back of the machine, pulling out the filter screen with needle-nose pliers, cleaning it, and reinstalling it.
- Emergency Door Unlock: In case of a prolonged power cut, if clothes need to be removed, ensure the water level is below the safe level, temperature is under 40°C, and the inner drum is not rotating. Then, detach and lower the drain hose to drain water, open the drain pump cover, pull down a rod, and open the door. This method is for emergency use only.
