1. INTRODUCTION
The Testo 171, 175 & 177 series of data loggers are

Parameters measured are dependant upon model. The
following short form instruction manual covers the basic
operational aspects of the above instruments, for a full instruction manual please contact us.
2. CHOOSING THE LOCATION FOR YOUR INSTRUMENT (IMPORTANT PLEASE READ)
For ambient temperature / relative humidity models the instrument should be sited at a location that is
typical of the ambient conditions and is not affected by any external temperature / humidity sources.
Avoid placing the instrument in or near the following locations:- . Bright sunlight, Air conditioning
inlets & outlets, radiators, computers / monitors or other office equipment (that may give off heat), damp
corners, by fans or sinks and any draughts in general. Also avoid handling the instrument as this may

For ambient condition monitor logger models, the instrument will take approximately 30min to 1 hour to
acclimatise.
