1 Hose adapter
For maintenance purposes, the hoses can be conveniently
disconnected from the filter head here without draining the hose/
tube system.
2 Filter head with mains cable
Inside the filter head there is a filter pump, which pumps water
through the filter during operation.

6 Tetra CR Filterrings (ceramic filter rings)
The filter rings retain larger particles and ensure an even flow within
the filter housing by distributing the water in dierent directions.
7 Tetra BF BioFoam (biological filter sponge)
The biological filter sponge retains medium-sized particles and
encourages the settlement of beneficial bacterial cultures to
biologically clean the water.
8 Tetra BB BioBalls (biological filter balls)
Filter balls with a special macro-surface encourage the settlement
of beneficial bacterial cultures in their interior, to biologically clean
the water.
9 Tetra CF Carbon (carbon filter medium)
The carbon filter granules in a mesh bag eliminate harmful organic
substances, odours and discoloured water.
10 Tetra FF FilterFloss (filter floss pad)
The filter floss pad retains the smallest particles that are let through
by the other filter elements.
