Problem Solution
I press SET and the
appropriate key at the
same time, but the remote
still does not work.
Press and hold SET, then press the appropriate
key. (The remote will not enter the desired
mode if buttons are pressed in the wrong
order.)
I have tried all the codes
under my device’s brand,
my universal remote still
does not work.
Use Manual Search or Auto Search to nd the
proper codes.
The red LED does not
turn off after I enter the
3-digit code during brand
code setup.
• If the red LED turns o after entering the last
digit of the code, the code number is valid
(matches a code in the Code List).
• If the red LED blinks and then stays lit after
entering the last digit of the code, the code
number is invalid (does not match a code
in the Code List). Try the next code for your
device.
I cannot get the remote to
pair with my device.
• TVs and other devices may power o
dierently. Make sure you know how yours
powers o so you can press the appropriate
key at the correct time. Otherwise, the
remote will not pair with the device and you
will have to try again.
• Try all the 3-digit device codes one by one
under the same brand until all or most keys
work properly.
• Write down all the code numbers that work
with your device, then try each until you nd
the best code.
