choke lever to the activated position
as shown in the picture.

To start driving:
The machine is designed to cultivate culinary gardens and
flowerbeds. It can also be fitted with various accessories.
Move the start/stop switch to start . Put one hand on one of the handles. Pull the start cord until the motor starts.
Then tilt the machine backwards on the depth rod so the blades are lifted off
the ground. Activate the gas handle a
couple of times to make the blades rotate.
Lower the front of the machine until the blades begin striking the ground, then start tilling.
To stop the motor, release the gas handle and move the start/stop switch to stop .
Depth rod:
The setting of the depth rod determines the blade depth. The
deeper the rod is set, the deeper the machine will till the earth.
For best results, cultivate the soil 2
-
3 times in different
directions.
Cleaning after use:
The cultivator
should be cleaned after use. Use the garden hose to
wash the earth and dirt off. Remove quick grass, etc., from the
blade shaft. The chassis identification number should only be
wiped over with a damp cloth, otherwise it could get damaged.
Avoid using a hi
gh
-
pressure cleaner.
Note: the gear may become very hot during
operation.
Spacers for blades:
Remeber to stop the motor:
Remove the blades farthest out and then fit the supplied spacers. This ensures minimum working width.
Gear maintenance:
For lat
er filling, fill with multifak, e.g. EP
-
O, until it runs out of the filling hole when the machine is horizontal.
Air filter:
NEVER start the motor if the air filter is not properly fitted.
The air filter should be cleaned every three months or every 25
hours of use
Clean every day
if you have used the machine in a very dry
or dusty area. To clean the air filter, do the following:

Remove the air filter cover.

Remove filter.
6.
When fitting, ensure air filter is correctly fitted.
