will need to assign a unique address to
each one. If you are connecting to a
Live front panel, then the keypad on the
panel is set to address 1. The address
dill switch can be found on the rear of
the keypad next to the battery
compartment.
2.1 First keypad on a new system
Use the supplied cable to connect to the engineers keypad port on the panel1.
Insert the batteries.2.
On the keypad Enter the engineers code ????3.
Select Language4.
Do you want to default Ricochet*5.
Confirm devices6.
"Learn Ricochet" will appear on the screen7.
Press y8.
Press y again to learn to the displayed zone9.
Disconnect the cable from the keypad10.
Press y on the LCDLP-W when prompted to Learn the keypad11.
An acknowledgement tone will be generated to confirm a successful learn12.
*Note: If yes is selected any devices currently learned to the system will be
removed. During the default procedure no Ricochet devices can be learned to the
receiver.
