B. In t he 0.44-inch diameter hole that you made in the airplane belly, install the M N6235 Bulkhead
Short Connec tor an d the MN6079 Backnut 1/8 BSP.
7. (Refer to Figure 18, View A-A and View C-C.) Install the antenna doubler for the XPDR1 transponder
antenna on the forward fairing as follows:
A. Put the 9507001-3 Plate A s se mbl y in the correc t installation position.
B. Match drill six Nu mber 30 (0.128-inch diam et er) holes in the 9507001-3 Plate A s s embly and the
forward fairing and temporarily hold the 9507001-3 Plate Assembly in position .
C. Drill four 0.201-inch diameter holes in th e 95 07001-3 Plate Assembly to align with the forward fa iring.
D. Drill a 0. 812-inch diameter hole in th e forwa rd fairing that aligns with the XPDR1 transponder
antenna coaxial conne ctor.
E. Install an MS3 5489-118 Grommet in t he 0.812-inch diameter hole t hat you drilled in the 2613495-1
TKS E xternal Doubler.
F. With U47064 2 Sealant, fay seal the 9507001-3 Plate Assembly.
G. Wit h U470642 Sealant, s hank seal the six CR3522-4-4 R ivet s .
H. With s ix CR3522-4-4 Rivet s , attach the 9507001-3 Pl ate Assembly to the 261 3494 TKS F airin g
Assembly.
I. Wit h prim er, do a touch-up as ne ce ssary on the rivet heads.
8. (Airplane s with X PDR2 transponder antenna installed) (Refer to F igure 18.) Install the antenna do ubler for
the X P DR2 tran sp onder ant enna on the forward fairing as follows:
A. Put the 9507001-3 Plate A s se mbl y in the correc t installation position.
B. Match drill six Nu mber 30 (0.128-inch diam et er) holes in the 9507001-3 Plate A s s embly and the
structure.
C. Drill four 0.201-inch diameter holes in th e 95 07001-3 Plate Assembly to align with the forward fa iring.
D. Drill a 0. 812-inch diameter hole in th e forwa rd fairing that aligns with the XPDR2 transponder
antenna coaxial conne ctor.
E. Install an MS 35489-118 Grommet in the 0.812-inch diameter hole in the 2613000 Forwa rd F uselage
Assembly.
F. With U47064 2 Sealant, fay seal the 9507001-3 Plate Assembly.
G. Wit h U470644 Sealant, s hank seal the six CR3522-4-4 R ivet s .
H. With s ix CR3522-4-4 Rivet s , attach the 9507001-3 Pl ate Assembly to the 261 3494 TKS F airin g
Assembly.
I. Wit h prim er, do a touch up a s necessary on the rivet he ads .
9. Install the equipment and fi lter pallets on t he forward l ow-profi le TKS fairing as follows:
A. Do the modific ation of the equi pment pal let as follows:
(1) (Refer t o Figure 14, View H-H, View J-J, an d View K-K.) Drill one 0.204-inch diameter h ole
through the e quipm ent pallet and one 0.204-inch diamet er hole thro ugh the pump 2 mount.
(2) Drill two Number 21 (0.159-inch diameter) holes in the equipment pallet.
(3) Adjacent to t he 0.204-inch diameter hole for the MS21 075L3N Nutplate, drill two Number 40
(0.098-inch diameter) holes in the equipment pallet.
(4) Apply Alodine to bare me tal.
(5) At the Number 21 holes, install two S1741-1 Anchors with the tw o MS20470A5-4A Rivets.
(6) Install one MS21075L3N Nutplate with t he two M S20426AD3-4A Rivets.
