Reminders
Not recommended for use in measuring shiny or polished metal surfaces (stainless steel, aluminum,
etc.).
The unit cannot measure through transparent surfaces such as glass or plastic. It will measure the
surface temperature of the glass instead.
Steam, dust, smoke, etc., can prevent accurate measurement by obstructing the unit's optics. Hold the
unit back and at an angle to ensure the most accurate measurement.
Care and Cleaning
Avoid splashes and spills on the unit.
If unit becomes dirty, wipe with a soft dry cloth.
