Adjusting the Values (Continued)
1. Black Mark Width: The measurement of thickness
of the black mark
2. Black Mark Offset: How far down the label will
move after the black mark before starting to print
**usually this is not needed with foil labels
3. Print Area Height: The distance between two black
marks
4. Print Area Width: The width of the individual labels
themselves
5. Number Across: Horizontally, however many labels
(of the size of the Print Area Width) there are
6. Horizontal Separation: Matches the Print Area
Width or greater. This value is the Print Area Width
+ the gaps between the labels horizontally
**usually this is not needed / set equal to the Print
Area Width with foil labels
7. Left Margin: The size of the imprinting area on the
left of the label, in the case of the picture on the
right, it would be between the right edge (because
this is the back of the label) and the first perforation
