Heat Pump Water Heaters
SPECIAL INFORMATION
- The appliance may be used by children aged 8 and up and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or a lack of experience and know-how, provided that they are supervised or they have been instruct-
ed on how to use the appliance safely and have understood the resulting risks. Children must never play with the
appliance. Children must never clean the appliance or perform user maintenance unless they are supervised.
- The DHW heat pump shall be able to be separated from the power supply by means of a suitable isolator
(eg. contactor, circuit breaker, fuse) in accordance with the wiring rules and national standards.
- The device is subject to mains water pressure. The expansion water drips from the safety valve during heat-up.
- In Australia and New Zealand the installation shall comply with AS/NZS3500.4: A tempering valve is mandatory
for all installations for maximum of 50 ¡C for all sanitary fixtures used primarily for personal hygiene.
- Regularly vent the safety valve until a full stream of water flows from it. Close the safety valve after checking.
