CONNECTING THE DEVICE TO THE MAINS

Connection should only be carried out by qualiﬁed personnel who have knowledge of the applicable building

element.

Before connection, it should be ensured that the mains to which the unit is to be connected is suitable for

the purpose and meets the requirements:

• Check that the mains is suitable for the unit’s power consumption.

• The mains voltage must match the values speciﬁed on the unit’s nameplate.

• The power supply cable must be suitable for the load speciﬁed on the type plate of the unit. Do not use

adapters, transitions or the like between the unit and the mains as these may cause overheating and

ﬁre.

• The power supply cable must be free of surrounding heaters.
