WARNING: When using the electric water heater for the first time (or the first time
following maintenance), the appliance must not be switched on until it is completely full
of water. While the appliance is filling, at least one of the hot water taps connected to the
electric water heater must be open in order to vent the air. This tap can be closed once
the electric water heater is completely full of water.
WARNING: When you remove the electric water heater from the pack, check that is in
perfect condition. If the product shows signs of damage do not use it and instead contact
the THERMOFLOW service network.
WARNING: The pressure relief valve connected to the electric water heater must be
installed on the appliance’s cold water inlet; make sure the pressure relief valve is not
exposed to steam produced by the hot water. Water may drip from the pressure relief
valve, so the outlet hole must be open to the atmosphere.
The internal tank can be drained through the pressure relief valve. Undo the pressure
relief valve screw and lift the drain valve lever (see Fig. 2.1). The tube connected to the
pressure relief valve outlet must be angled downwards and terminate in a place that is not
at risk of freezing. Water may drip from the pressure relief valve outlet tube, which must
therefore remain open to the atmosphere.
