When the appliance is rst powered on, the heater element may emit some smoke and an odour. This is normal and will stop after a few minutes.
MAINTENANCE
Domestic maintenance:
At least once a month, operate the drain of the hydraulic safety unit to prevent any scaling and to check that it is not blocked.
Failure to perform this maintenance operation may cause damage and the loss of the warranty.
Maintenance by qualied personnel:
a) Remove the limescale sludge deposits. Do not scrape or hit the limescale that is stuck to the side as this may damage the coating.
b) Replace the magnesium anode every two years or once its diameter is less than 10 mm. Replacing the reinforced heating element or the anode will
require draining the water heater and changing the seal.
Drain:
Turn o󰀨 the power supply and the cold water inlet, open the hot water taps then operate the safety device before performing these operations.
Install the heating element and moderately tighten the nuts (criss-cross pattern), check the watertightness the next day, and tighten again, if necessary.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a cable or a special pack available from the manufacturer or the After-Sales service.
Replaceable parts:
the thermostat, the seal, the heating element, the heater body, the indicator light, the magnesium anode, the connection cable. The warranty requires
original manufacturer’s parts to be used.
Do not dispose of your appliance with household waste; take it to an o󰀩cial collection point for recycling.
