or Sauté, this indicates that the electric pressure cooker is in
a sealed state. Sauté must be used when the lid is opened.
Slow Cook and Keep Warm functions can be used with the
lid open or closed.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
PRESSURE COOKING
The pressure cooking program is used for Rice, Soup, Poultry, Meat/
Stew, Bean/Chili, Multigrain, Porridge, Steam, Cake and Manual
functions.
TIP: We suggest that the food and water doesn’t exceed 2/3 full. When
cooking foods that expand during cooking, such as rice and beans, do
not fill the appliance over 1/2 full.
After the cooking process has started, you can press Cancel at any time
to end the program. The cooker then goes to standby mode.
1. Follow the steps in the section Before Each Use
2. Make sure that the steam release handle is positioned
to Sealing.
3. Plug in the unit. The screen displays - - - -, which means that it
is in standby mode.
4. Select a cooking function that cooks under pressure (please
refer to the Cooking Programs table). Once the function key is
pressed, its indicator will light up.
5. If needed, use the table below to adjust cooking time.
