MIXING GUIDE
Always begin mixing at low speed to prevent splattering, then increasing to higher
speeds as required.
Speed Purpose Attachment Type of mixture
1-2 Kneading Dough Hook
• Low speed recipes.
• Pizza, pasta, bread or scone dough.

• Low speed recipes.
• Heavy batter & pastries
3-4 Light Mixing Beater
• Medium speed recipes.
• Cakes & Biscuits.
• Butter & Sugar.

5-6 Aerating & Whisking Whisk • Egg whites & Cream.
Pulse Quick burst of power Whisk
• lnterval (e.g. mixing under sponge
or egg white).
Note: With heavy mixtures, do not operate the machine for more than six minutes
at a time, and allow ten minutes for it to cool down before operating again.
