1.9.8 CAN bus diagnostics
TondoutwhethertheWiProCANbusisreceivingdata,
activate Diagnostics mode.

startstoash(Diagram2,PartC).WiProisnowinDiagnosticmode.
While WiPro is in Diagnostics mode, operate the remote fey fob of the vehicle
oractivatethewarninglights.BothleadtodatatrafcontheCANbus,which
can be evaluated.
IfCANbusdataarebeingreceived,thegreenLEDashesorickers
(Diagram2,PartD)dependingonthedatatransferrateoftheBUSsystem.
If the green LED shows no response, the connection is faulty or
CAN H and CAN L have been swapped over.
1.9.9 Performing an alarm test
After the central unit has been installed and connected to the vehicle systems
(Chapter 2) a test alarm should be carried out with each assigned transmitter
(wireless magnet contact, cable loop and wireless gas alarm).
Activate WiPro and open one of the assigned wireless magnetic contacts.
Thesirensounds,thevehicleindicatorsashandthehornsounds,depending
on the type of vehicle.
Repeat the process with each of the installed and assigned transmitters.
To test the alarm for a cable loop, remove it from the holder
with the system activated.
To carry out an alarm test with a wireless gas alarm, switch it on and wait
untilthepreheatingphaseisover(powerlampashesgreen).Floodthewireless
gasalarmwithlightergas.ThepowerlampashesquicklyandWiProgivesan
alarm as described in the user manual.
To test the alarm with the cab doors, open one of the doors from the inside when the
WiPro is activated.
2. Connecting the central unit to the vehicle systems
Connect the WiPro cable according to the plug assignment diagram
on Page 10 and using the connection diagrams on Pages 11 to 13.
All connections must be made with the circuits de-energised.
To avoid short circuits or malfunctions, insulate the ends
of the wires which are not used.

!! A test alarm with the driver’s cab doors is not possible until at least 60 sec-
onds after arming the system!
