Roof
DO NOT CLIMB ON OR WALK ON THE ROOF WHILE
WET, ICY, OR SNOW COVERED. THE ROOF COULD

WARNINGWARNING
TMC motorhomes have plywood reinforced roofs which
are strong enough to walk on, but is not designed to be an
observation platform. Use the exterior ladder to climb up
on the roof to inspect and maintain the roof, roong seals,
and roof-mounted components.
Ramp Door (if equipped)
ere are several ramp door congurations, depending on
your motorhome model year, make, and model. Each ramp
door has a load limit weight rating label, set and axed by
the ramp door manufacturer. If you have questions regard-
ing the operation or maintenance of your motorhome

Ramp Door Patio Enclosure
or Motor Coach Outlaw models (Class A and C) may be
equipped with an optional ramp door patio enclosure. e
ramp door patio consists of a patio barrier, a gate, and oen
an awning installed over the back of the motorhome. Some
patio enclosures may include steps that can be installed to
allow access to the ground level. Refer to the instructions
included in your Owner’s Packet for Ramp Patio set-up
and stowage.
To prevent injuries due to falls, inspect ramp door cables
and attachment brackets before each use to ensure the
cable system is in good working order. Always use the
patio barriers whenever the patio is in use and ensure all
fasteners are secure. Never overload the ramp door when it
is used as a patio or loading ramp.

Typical Ramp Door Patio
Make sure there are no obstructions when raising,
lowering or using the ramp door. Keep all people
and pets clear of the motorhome while operating the
ramp door. Always visually conrm the ramp door is
shut and locked in the travel position before moving
the motorhome. Moving the motorhome while the
ramp door is lowered to the ground or in the patio
position could cause damage to the ramp door and the
motorhome.
WARNINGWARNING
Never exceed the weight limits of the ramp door when
it is being used as a loading ramp (down position) or as
a patio, if equipped (horizontal position). Never exceed
the carrying capacity of the garage area and the GVWR
of the motorhome.
To prevent falls and injuries, never use the ramp door
as a patio without the patio barriers.
WARNINGWARNING
Do not allow jumping, running, or rough play on the
patio enclosure. Stress or failure of the mounting and/
or support mechanisms could occur, which could lead
to severe personal injury.
