Battery and charger
Detach the charger and store it in a cool, dry place when not in use. Damp environments can result in the terminals
and electrical contacts corroding. Extended storage at high temperatures (50 °C) can result in permanent damage
to the battery. Check the electrical terminals and contacts on the battery and charger. Wipe them down using a
clean cloth or blow them clean using compressed air.
After storage, it may be necessary to charge the battery as usual. To check the available charge,
press the battery charge indicator button and charge the battery accordingly. See the section on the battery charge
indicator.
