How to use
How to clean the rice
cooker
Clean the rice cooker following the steps shown on pages 23 and 24.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
Wash all parts by hand. Do not use a dish washer to wash parts.
We recommend that you clean the rice cooker within the day you use it. This can help
extend the life of your rice cooker. It is also recommended that you clean the rice
cooker periodically.
z
When using the slow cook function, because odors can easily linger, be sure to clean
the cooker within the day of use. (Refer to page 24)
Before cleaning, remove the plug and wait until the cooker has cooled down.
Use kitchen detergent (for dishes and kitchen tools) to wash parts.
Choose a sponge or cloth made of soft materials for cleaning.
1. Clean with a sponge and water, or with lukewarm water.
2.
Wipe water away with a dry cloth, and dry the parts completely.
z
Do not use the polishing
part of the sponge to clean
the inner pan. Doing so may
cause the uorine coating of
the inner pan to peel.
z
Do not put dishes into the
inner pan and use it as a
dishpan. When drying the
inner pan, do not put it over
dishes or pile it together with
dishes. Doing so may cause
the uorine coating of the inner pan to peel.
