What to do if my TILLOTSON TPP-212E Engine won't start?

  If your TILLOTSON Engine won’t start, several factors could be at play. First, check the fuel level and fill it if necessary. If the engine is cold, close the choke (set it to the start position). Alternatively, if the engine is flooded, set the choke to the open/run position. Finally, inspect the spark plug; if it's dirty, remove and clean it, ensuring the electrode spacing is correct. Replace the spark plug if damaged, and make sure it's properly installed with the wire connected. Remember, do not crank the engine with the spark plug removed.

Why won't the electric start work on my TILLOTSON Engine?

  If the electric start on your TILLOTSON Engine isn’t working, it could be due to a bad battery. Check its capacity; try starting the engine with a pull start to let the battery recharge. If it still doesn't charge, replace the battery. Another possible cause is a burned-out fuse, which you should replace.
