Why does my TM RACING 4 STROKE 2006 engine overheat excessively?
    • Z
      Zachary HessAug 15, 2025
Your TM RACING Motorcycle engine may be overheating due to several reasons: not enough fluid in the cooling system, insufficient ventilation, air in the cooling system, very dirty radiator plates, foam formation in the cooling system, or a bent radiator pipe. To resolve this, fill the cooling system with coolant and check for leaks. Continue riding at a sustained speed, bleed the cooling system, clean the radiator plates with water, replace the coolant with a good antifreeze, or shorten/replace the bent radiator pipe.

What to do if my TM RACING 4 STROKE 2006 Motorcycle engine will not run at idle speed?
    • L
      lisa17Aug 18, 2025
If your TM RACING Motorcycle engine won't idle, it could be due to a blocked idle speed jet, altered idle speed adjustment screws, a damaged spark plug, or a faulty ignition plant. Try disassembling the carburetor and cleaning the jets, adjusting the idle speed screws, or replacing the spark plug. If these steps don't work, have the ignition plant checked.

Why is my TM RACING 4 STROKE 2006 Motorcycle experiencing weak engine power?
    • D
      diazgeoffreyAug 21, 2025
Weak engine power in your TM RACING Motorcycle could stem from a few issues. The fuel supply might be partially interrupted, or the carburetor could be dirty. The float might not be leakproof, the air filter could be very dirty, the exhaust system might not be leakproof or could be deformed, or the fiberglass in the silencer packing could be damaged. There also might be insufficient valve play in the silencer, or a loss of compression because the hand decompressor hasn’t got enough play. To address these issues, clean and control the fuel circuit and the carburetor, replace the float, clean or replace the oil filter, check the faulty parts on the empty plant, replace the fiberglass, and adjust the hand decompressor flexible cable command. Also, have the ignition plant checked.

What to do if my TM RACING 4 STROKE 2006 engine misses strokes or flames return from the engine to the carburetor?
    • C
      Christopher CarterAug 28, 2025
If your TM RACING Motorcycle engine is missing strokes or flames are returning from the engine to the carburetor, it may be due to missing fuel or dirt in the air boots. Clean and control the fuel circuit and the carburetor. Also, check the rubber sheaths between the filter case and the carburetor and between the carburetor and head, and tighten the bands.

Why does my TM RACING 4 STROKE 2006 have excessive oil consumption?
    • D
      Danielle RamirezAug 31, 2025
Excessive oil consumption in your TM RACING Motorcycle may be due to a bent vent pipe, an engine oil level that's too high, or engine oil that's too thin. Try positioning or replacing the vent pipe, checking and correcting the engine oil level, and using a more viscous oil.

Why doesn't my TM RACING Motorcycle engine reach full working conditions?
    • G
      ggarzaSep 4, 2025
If your TM RACING Motorcycle engine isn't reaching full working conditions, it could be due to fuel overflow because the level is adjusted too high, or the float needle valve is dirty or consumed. The carburetor jets may also be loose, or the ignition phase might not be correct. Disassemble the carburetor and check the height of the float and the state of the needle valve, as described in the “Frame and Engine Maintenance” chapter. Tighten the jets, and have the ignition plant checked.

    • D
      David KingSep 12, 2025
