      If the engine speed is very high on your TOHATSU Outboard Motor, causing the high-speed ESG to operate, check and adjust the valve timing. Adjust the valve clearance. Inspect and replace worn components such as the piston, piston ring, and/or cylinder. Clean the combustion chamber if there is too much carbon deposition. Tighten the spark plug if it is loose.
