Overview

This document provides an assembly and safety manual for the PT-L1-Q2 tent, available in sizes 3m x 2m, 3m x 4m, 3m x 6m, and 3m x 8m. The manual is presented in multiple languages, including German, English, Polish, Dutch, French, Czech, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, and Danish.

Function Description:

The PT-L1-Q2 tent is designed as a versatile, temporary outdoor shelter. Its primary functions include providing protection from the sun and wind, serving as a storage area, or being used for various events and celebrations. It is intended for outdoor use only and should be stored outdoors. The tent's modular design allows for different sizes, making it adaptable to various needs.

Important Technical Specifications:

The tent is available in four different sizes: 3m x 2m, 3m x 4m, 3m x 6m, and 3m x 8m. The metal parts of the tent are protected by a thin film of lubricant from the manufacturer to prevent rust. The pipes and connectors are joined using screws, which should be tightened manually with a hexagon key or an automatic screwdriver set to a maximum level of 2 to prevent material wear. The tarp material should be stored at a minimum temperature of 10 °C and unwrapped at or above this temperature to prevent breakage at fold points. The tent is not tested for wind and snow loads, and therefore, the manufacturer does not provide a guarantee for these conditions. Users are advised to monitor weather forecasts and secure or disassemble the tent as needed. When using heaters, a minimum distance of 1.2 meters must be maintained between the heating device and the tarp material. Open flames or heaters with open flames (e.g., patio heaters, gas heaters) are strictly prohibited inside the tent.

Usage Features:

  • Versatile Application: The tent can be used for parties, as sun protection, a shelter, for storage, and many other purposes.
  • Temporary Use: Tents are intended for temporary accommodation and should be taken down in adverse weather conditions.
  • Ground Requirements: The tent should be pitched on a flat and even ground base. Only the materials provided with the tent should be used.
  • Temperature Considerations: The tent can be used in temperatures a few degrees below zero. However, the tarp material must be stored at a minimum of 10 °C for a sufficiently long time and unwrapped at or above this temperature to prevent damage.
  • Safety Precautions:
    • Maintain sufficient distance from hoses, gas, and power lines to avoid damage. Local authorities should be consulted for information on the location of such lines.
    • The person setting up the tent is responsible for adequate anchoring to ensure safety. Anchoring must be checked regularly to prevent damage and protect users.
    • Wear head protection, gloves, and sturdy shoes during assembly, as heavy metal parts may have sharp edges and be oily due to rust prevention treatment.
    • Regularly and promptly remove snow and heavy rain accumulation from the tarp.
    • Keep spare parts out of reach of children.
  • Assembly: The assembly process is straightforward, with detailed illustrations provided in the manual. For the first assembly, allow extra time; subsequent assemblies will be quicker. Screws should be tightened manually or with an automatic screwdriver set to a maximum of level 2.
  • Legal Regulations: Users are advised to check with local authorities regarding any necessary permits for pitching the tent, as regulations for movable structures (tents) vary by country and may depend on the tent's size.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: Do not use aggressive cleaning agents on the tarp material. A mild alkaline solution (soapy water) is recommended for cleaning.
  • Storage: The tent should not be folded or packed when wet; it must be thoroughly dried first. Store the tent in a dry place, ensuring no other objects are placed on top of it.
  • Structural Integrity: Do not modify the metal structure of the tent by adding or welding additional loads, making grooves, or causing deformations.
  • Disassembly: During disassembly, use the packing list to ensure all parts are accounted for, preventing issues during future assemblies.
  • Wear and Tear: Rubber loops are wear parts and should be replaced if material fatigue occurs.
  • Environmental Protection: Do not dispose of the tent or its components with household waste. Instead, take them to an official recycling collection point or contact the manufacturer/authorized dealer for proper recycling.

The manual also includes a packing list with item numbers and quantities for different tent sizes (2m, 4m, 6m, 8m), covering various components like pipes, connectors, and accessories. Contact information for customer service is provided for inquiries, spare parts, and warranty claims.
