  If your hydraulic system is running hot, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the hydraulic fluid level in the hydraulic tank is adequate. Adjust it if it's low. The fluid itself could be contaminated or have the wrong viscosity, in which case you should replace it. Check if the hydraulic fluid cooler is damaged or plugged, and repair or replace it as needed. Also, make sure there is no obstruction of the fluid cooler air flow. Verify cooling fan operation and remove any debris from in and around the fluid cooler. Lastly, the traction pump bypass valve may be open or damaged, requiring you to close or replace it.

  Excessive foaming and leakage can occur for several reasons. The hydraulic fluid level in the tank might be low; adjust it accordingly. Using the wrong type of hydraulic fluid, mixing incompatible fluids, or water contamination can also cause this issue; in any of these cases, replace the hydraulic fluid. A damaged, leaking, loose, or clogged suction filter or line could also be responsible; secure, clean, or replace these components as necessary.

Additionally, the traction pump bypass valve might be open or damaged; close or replace it. For further diagnostics, it is recommended to verify charge pressure and traction pump operation.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, further diagnostics may be required, such as verifying the rear lift cylinder relief valve operation, or testing and repairing the lift cylinder.

  Unexpected operation of the front or rear attachment hydraulic motor can be caused by a stuck or damaged remote hydraulics valve (Rear Remote Hydraulics Kit model 08781). Alternatively, the front attachment valve (SV2) or the tank valve (SV1) could be stuck or damaged (Hydraulic Switch Kit model 08783 Front Attachment). The front attachment valve (SV3) or the tank valve (SV1) could be stuck or damaged (Hydraulic Switch Kit model 08783 Rear Attachment). Remove, clean, inspect and repair or replace the valve if necessary.
