intotheoil-lltube,wait3minutes,andthen
repeatsteps3through5untiltheoillevelis
attheFullmarkonthedipstick
•IftheoilisabovetheFullmarkonthe
dipstick,draintheexcessoiluntiltheoillevel
isattheFullmarkonthedipstick.T odrain
theexcessoil,refertoChangingtheEngine
Oil(page20).
Important:Iftheoillevelinthecrankcase
istoolowortoohighandyourunthe
engine,youmaydamagetheengine.
6.Installthedipstickintotheoil-lltubesecurely.

2.Pushtheknobsuntiltheyareloose.
3.Movethehandletotheupperorlowerheight
position.
4.Pulltheknobsuntilthesquareedgesofeach
carriagebolttsintoitsrelatedsquarehole.
5.Tightenthehandleknobsastightasyoucan.

awayfromthehotmufer.
Adjustthecuttingheightasdesired.Setthefront
wheelstothesameheightastherearwheels(Figure
17).
Note:T oraisethemachine,movethefrontcutting
heightleversrearwardandtherearcuttingheight
leversforward.Tolowerthemachine,movethefront
cuttingheightleversforwardandtherearcutting
heightleversrearward.
