If your Toro Compact Loader engine loses power, it could be due to several factors. The engine load may be excessive, so reduce ground speed. The air cleaner might be dirty, requiring you to replace the air cleaner element. Check if the oil level in the crankcase is low and add oil if needed. Also, inspect the cooling fins and air passages under the engine blower housing for any obstructions and remove them. Other potential causes include pitted, fouled, or incorrectly gapped spark plugs (install new, correctly gapped spark plugs) and a dirty fuel filter (replace fuel filter). For issues related to dirt, water, or stale fuel in the fuel system, contact an Authorized Service Dealer.
